Dr Simon Batterbury - ongoing collaboration with Dr Jude Fernando, International Development, Clark University; Dr Donna Green, CSIRO; Dr Leah Horowitz, University of Leeds;Prof Andrew Warren, University College London; and links with the University of New Caledonia, UNPAZ East Timor, and several non-profit organisations. Editor of the Journal of Political Ecology; editorial boards of the Geographical Review, Journal of Development Studies, Journal of Maps, and the Canadian Geographer/le Geographe Canadien.

 

Professor Andrew Dawson - Collaborative research with G Craig (UK) into quality of life of adult asylum seekers; Research into Bosnian Croats, Muslims and Serbs in Australia; advisor to Office of the High Representative, Zvornik, Bosnia-Hertzigova.

 

Associate Professor Barbara Downes - Collaboration with Dr Jill Lancaster ( University of Edinburgh, Universitas 21 partner) which resulted in an ARC grant and two publications (Visiting Fellow in SSEE Jan-Feb and August).

    Dr Monica Minnegal - Collaboration with Professor Roger Just ( University of Kent, UK) successful application for the British Academy/Association of Commonwealth Universities Grant scheme for International Collaboration

     

    Dr Lisa Palmer - International comparative research on treaty and agreement making in other settler societies including the United States, Canada and New Zealand.

  • The research team (Palmer, Langton and Tehan) are developing plans to formally collaborate in the treaty and agreement making research with Prof John Burrows and his colleagues in law and politics at the University of Victoria, VC, Canada.
  • Along with SSEE colleagues undertaking collaborative research with UNPAZ, a tertiary institution in EastTimor.
