Development Studies can be taken as a major in the Bachelor of Arts degree.

 

Undergraduate major coure structure for 2006

A BA Major in Development Studies usually consists of nine subjects at 12.5 points. It comprises:

 

Two first year subjects (25 points), which must include

  • 121-110 Famine in the Modern World; and
  • one first year subject from the list of first-year subjects below;
  •  

    Seven second/third-year subjects (87.5 points) which must include:

  • 121-015 Development and the Third World;
  • at least three core subjects; and
  • subjects from the list of optional subjects below.
